Agnes Siems

Agnes K. Siems, 94, of Bismarck, passed away February 2, 2026.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Zion Lutheran Church, Bismarck with Rev. Thomas Marcis Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 PM at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery. Family will be receiving guests one hour prior to the service. 

Agnes was born on September 15, 1931, in Bluegrass, ND (Center) on the farm. She was born to Ralph and Rose (Kautzman) Dauenhauer and baptized on September 20, 1931, in New Salem.

Agnes married Henry John Siems on April 26, 1955. She graduated from nursing school to be an LPN in 1948 and an RN in 1954. Agnes worked at St. Alexius Hospital, Public Health and Mid Dakota Clinic before retiring in 1995.

Golfing, shopping and going to the lake were among her favorite things to do as well as all crafts. She especially loved to sew and crochet.

Agnes is survived by her husband, Henry; daughter, Deborah (William) Schmid; son, Kenneth (Ann) Siems and half-brother, Raymond Riedinger.
