Bruce Allen Isaak, age 65, died at his home in Bismarck, North Dakota on January 15, 2026.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 12, 2026, at Bismarck Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND. Family will be receiving guests one hour prior to the service.

Bruce was the 4th child of Gordon Dale Isaak Sr. and Clara Ann Vogel, born on 26 August 1961 in Pierre, South Dakota. He grew up in North Dakota, attending schools in Center, Riverdale, and Mandan ND graduating from Mandan High School in 1979. He served in the US Army from 1980 to 1984 where he was an electrician and was honorably discharged. He married Deborah Sue Miller on 28 October 1987 in Minneapolis, MN. There were three children born in this union: Kelli Jo Ann Isaak, Ashley Pamela Isaak, Katee Elizabeth Isaak.

Bruce used his G.I. bill to attend a vocational college in the Twin Cities receiving an associates degree in bio electronics. He worked at St. Alexius Medical Center at Bismarck ND in their Biomedical Technology department from 1990 until 2014. He was very skilled at repairing complicated medical equipment at this medical facility. His marriage to Deborah Sue Miller ended in divorce in 1995. On June 12, 1998, he married Nadine D. Reamann in Bismarck, ND. This union resulted in a divorce in 2007.

In 2014, Bruce began his 2nd career at the Basin Electric Power Plant at Stanton, ND as an instrumentation technician where he made sure that the company was in compliance with federal standards in the emissions emitted from their power plant. He retired from this job in 2024.

Bruce enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle, he drove and attended the motorcycle rally in Sturgis, South Dakota for several years. He loved riding his motorcycle through the North Dakota countryside. Bruce enjoyed his weekly games of poker, and dealt blackjack on a part-time basis.

Bruce is survived by his three daughters: Kelli Jo Isaak, Rapid City South Dakota, Ashley (Dylan) Koch, Dickinson ND, Katee (Justin) Glover, Rapid City, SD; six beautiful grandchildren: Nolan Koch, Lainey Koch and Calahan Koch, Alden Schneider, Gracie Glover and August Glover; 6 siblings: Dr. Frederick (Beth) Isaak, Dubuque, IA, Debra Isaak Monticello MN, Lisa (Chris) Richter, Woodbury MN, Todd (Kami) Isaak, Pick City, ND, Melissa Isaak Maplewood MN, Kari (Mike) Isaak-Weigman, Bryon MN; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Bruce was proceeded in death by his parents, Gordon Dale Isaak, Sr. and Clara Isaak; paternal grandparents, Fred P and Emma Isaak; maternal grandparents, Simon and Elizabeth Vogel; and two brothers, Gordon Dale Isaak Jr. and James Edwin Isaak.
