Charles "Chuck" Aune

Charles (Chuck) Aune, 75, of Braddock, died on August 11, 2026 at the Linton Hospital.

Chuck was born on June 26, 1951. He grew up in Minnesota and married Donna miller on October 29, 1977.

Chucks’ job in construction led them to many places around the country where they made lifelong friends along the way. It was in 1991, that Chuck and Donna moved to Braddock, ND and this became their forever home. It was here friends became family.

He loved the peaceful countryside in Braddock, enjoyed the wildlife, but mostly he loved the people and the community. He never turned down a good game of pinochle. Chuck’s infectious laugh and famous eyeroll will be remembered by all who loved him.

Chuck was preceded in death by his wife, Donna.

He is survived by his sisters-in-law, Sharon (Allen) Muggli and Sheila (Bruce) Schmautz; 4 nephews; 5 great nephews and 1 very special great niece along with numerous cousins. He also leaves behind a special friend, Leo, who was always there for Chuck.

A very special thank you from the family to the many friends in Braddock, you became his family.

Chuck will be forever missed and loved endlessly. Rest peacefully.
