Clemens Nelson

Clemens H. Nelson, Mandan ND passed on October 18, 2026 after a long painful battle with cancer.

A memorial service will be held October 23, 2026 at Bismarck Funeral Home at 11:00 am, followed by burial at Mandan Union Cemetery. There will be no visitation prior to the service.

Clemens H. Nelson born in Mandan ND, to Arthur and Rose (Hegel) Nelson.

Clemens was a beloved husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed.

Clemens was a business owner for many years, devoted to his customers on call twenty four hours seven days a week. Until his health declined so dramatically which caused very noticeable effects.

Clemens enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

Clemens is survived by his wife Cindy of 49 years; daughter, Cheri (Mark) Thomsen; son, Kevin Nelson; his beloved grandchildren, Seth Thomsen, Allison (Lincoln) Frohlich, Uryah and Kinzlie Nelson; Six brothers, 2 sisters, 5 sisters-in-law; 2 brothers-in-law as well as lots of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Clemens was preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law; 2 brothers; 3 sisters; 2 brothers-in- law; 3 sisters- in- law; nieces and nephews.
