Currie Fetzer, 68, of Bismarck, passed away unexpectedly on November 27, 2025.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Bismarck Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Wagner officiating. Burial will follow at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery. Family will be receiving guests one hour prior to the service.

Currie Fetzer was born in Harvey, North Dakota on October 5, 1957, to Earl Fetzer and Mertle (Baker) Bauer. Currie grew up in Tuttle and later in Bismarck, where he graduated from Bismarck High School in 1975.

In 1982 he married Genevieve Seibel. To this union they had one child, Chasity Fetzer.

A proud veteran, Currie dedicated seven years of service to the United States Marine Corps and Army National Guard, demonstrating his commitment to serving his country. Following his military service, he pursued a career in the culinary arts, earning an associate's degree from culinary school, where he graduated with honors. He worked as a Dietary Aid at St. Alexius and later transitioned to Environmental Services at CHI St. Alexius.

Currie's life was centered around his passions which included fishing, camping, running, and cooking. He often shared his culinary talents, preparing meals not only for the military and the hospital but also for his family. Currie had an affinity for old cars and antique items.

Currie is survived by his daughter, Chasity Fetzer; granddaughters, MaKenna Fetzer and Aubriana Berger; sister, Billie (Darrell) Bohl; and brother, Lonnie (Sandy) Fetzer.

Currie was preceded in death by his parents, Mertle Bauer and Earl Fetzer; and his brothers, Jan Fetzer and Stevie Fetzer.

Currie Fetzer will be missed dearly, but his spirit and the memories he created will live on through his family and friends.
