Donald Dean Schlittenhardt passed away unexpectedly on June 20, 2025 of natural causes at his home in Mandan North Dakota, he was 59 years old.
Donald was born in Bismarck on April 23, 1966 to Herman and Loretta (Jundt) Schlittenhardt. He worked in several industries, his last at AID Inc. He loved helping people, had a Big Heart, sense of humor and festive laugh that would light up a room. He was one to always make a Stranger into a Friend.
Donald was a proud member of Bismarck Bible Baptist Church, he was inspired and enjoyed Pastor Jeff Olson's Ministries. As a Christian, we are comforted his Spirit is set Free to go joyfully to meet our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Donald lived a colorful life, enjoyed projects, beading, making jewelry, camping, boating, and especially fishing, he always had the best catch. His special love was spending time and playing cards or board games with family and friends. His best friends Brian and Velma Zelmer were his second family; he was like a brother to them and an uncle to their kids. His easy demeanor and cheery presence will be greatly missed.
Donald is survived by his brother, David Schlittenhardt of Wichita Kansas, and sister, Donna (Terry) Jones of Houghton Lake Michigan, many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, and loving sister-in-law, Stacie Schlittenhardt.
Cremation has taken place, followed by a private family service and burial.
