Edmund "Eddie" Patterson

Edmund "Eddie" Patterson, 59, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026, in a Bismarck Hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Bismarck.

Eddie was born on December 12, 1966, to Eldora "Dory" Gruenberg Patterson and Alfred "Pat" Patterson, Bismarck, ND.

During his working life Eddie was a cook at various restaurants with his last employment at Arrowhead Cleaners before his health took a turn. In his healthier times he enjoyed fishing and visiting with friends. A purple passion plant was his favorite with his favorite color being pink.

He is survived by his wife, Sharman; his son, Donovan; his grandson, Nevada; granddaughter, Sakari; siblings, Nancy (Kent), Alan (Shirley) and Harlan (Deb); his adopted sisters, Cheryl, Gail, Lori and Louis; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. His Baby Girl, Dory, along with Maui, were his constant furbaby companions.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Dory and Pat; his son, Steven; his siblings, Diane, John and Stanley; and his adopted brothers, Deland and Dana DeCoteau.

Cremation has already taken place, and a memorial will be held at a later date.
