Jody Jondro

Jody Lynn Jondro, 50, of Glendive, Montana, passed away November 28, 2025 in Bismark, North Dakota.

Jody was born October 10, 1975 in Belleville, Illinois. She was born into a loving family with her parents and 2 older sisters. She graduated from nursing school and became a CRNA. She married her best friend Aaron in 2008 and they had a wonderful son, Marcus in 2010.

Jody enjoyed traveling, jeep rides, gardening, anything Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, or Star Wars.

She loved her job as a CRNA. She truly enjoyed her work and always made sure each of her patients were cared for to the best of her ability.

Surviving are her husband Aaron, son Marcus, father Marvin Gass (Troy, IL), sister Amy Schult (Columbia,IL), Karen Showalter (O’Fallon, IL). Also many nieces and nephews. Also, Parents in law, Ruth and David Rakey (Mt. Vernon, IL)

She was preceded in death by her mom, Judy Gass nee Sherman, grandparents (Charles and Esther Sherman) and (Marcel and Dorothy Gass)

Jody was a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, and a friend. Her smile and charismatic surgery caps will truly be missed.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Montana and in Illinois so that all of her family and friends can come together to share happy memories and stories to honor her life. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to The Montana Pittie Project in Jody’s honor.
