Kenneth Pfaff, 87, Bismarck, passed away peacefully at his home on November 17, 2025.
Funeral Services will be Friday, November 21 at 1:00 PM at the Bismarck Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at the Washburn Baptist Cemetery.
Kenneth was born on March 20, 1938 to Harold and Esther (Schulz) Pfaff and raised in rural Washburn, ND. He attended country school in Falkirk and graduated from Washburn High School in 1957. Kenneth attended Minot State College for a short time, then returned to the family farm near Falkirk where he started farming and ranching with his dad.
He married Wanda Fast in Garrison, where they resided for many years while he continued farming in Washburn. Later they moved to Bismarck, but Kenny continued to commute to Washburn to farm and eventually took over the family farm.
Some of Kenny’s favorite things he enjoyed were football (Dallas Cowboys), farming, his animals, especially his dogs and his trains (having a special room to set the train sets all up in).
Kenney made friends easily and enjoyed visiting with anyone about farming and the land. He enjoyed driving through the country checking out the crops.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; son, Kent (Rhonda) Pfaff; 3 grandsons, Steve (Cherise) Pfaff, Zach Pfaff, Nick (Ashley) Pfaff; and 5 great grandchildren.
Ken was preceded in death by his first wife, Wanda; parents, Harold and Esther; sisters, Bernice (Marvin) Strecker and Florence (Ervin) Dockter.
