Liana Hoffer

Liana Lee Hoffer, 80, of Bismarck, passed away Monday, November 2, 2026 at a local care facility in Bismarck. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00PM, Friday, November 20, 2026, at Bismarck Funeral Home.

Liana was born June 16, 1946 to Robert and Thelma (Pulver) Lutz. She was raised and educated in Beulah, ND.

Liana was married to Kenneth Duttenhefer. They farmed in Dodge, ND until his death. Later she fell in love and married Lonnie Hoffer. They enjoyed vacationing and going on cruises. They mostly enjoyed each other’s company.

Liana enjoyed sewing, cross stitching, crafting and being with family and friends.

She will be deeply missed by her husband, Lonnie; children, Robert (Jackie), Wayne (Cary) and Traci; grandchildren, Austin, Kooper, Ashley and Chris; great-grandchildren, Kayson and Brixton; brother, Terry (Sue), Greg (Judy); sister-in-law, Judy and many family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Robert, Thelma and John; her first husband, Kenneth; grandparents and brother, Randy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.
