Linda Ormiston

Linda Ormiston, 80, of Bismarck passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 7, 2025, at Bismarck Funeral Home. Visitation will be the hour before the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, New Salem, ND.

Linda was born to William (Bill) Harm and Margaret (Stoltz) on May 18, 1945. She married George G. Ormiston in 1967 in New Salem, ND. They had two sons, George Todd (Rita) Ormiston and Russell E. (Kristie) Ormiston. Her pride and joy was her family and all her grandkids, Colton, Justin, Hoyt, Elin and Ridge. Her favorite time of the year was definitely Christmas as she prepared numerous cookies and other baked goods for the entire family after she made certain everyone had way too many presents to open under the tree. She loved her time outdoors, especially at Lake Tschida while doing misc. projects around the house. She also had a passion for playing Pinochle and Canasta with family and friends.

She is survived by her sister Evelyn Krile plus many nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her husband George G., her Parents, Sister Florence Lipp, Brother John Harm and Brother-in-Law Ben Krile.
