Marilyn Miller

Marilyn Miller, 86, passed away July 2, 2025. A memorial service will be held at the Bismarck Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at 9:30AM. Burial will be at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.

Marilyn was born July 17, 1938 in Bismarck to George Wetch and Tressa (Rauchwater) Wetch. She worked at St. Alexius Medical Center for 25 years prior to retirement. Marilyn worked in the birth place, where many babies were born.

On July 1, 1961 she married Harlin E. Miller Jr. and they raised two sons.

Marilyn had many hobbies including reading, watching sports on tv especially the Minnesota Twins and Vikings, fishing and spending time at the lake cabin. She loved casinos, auctions and rummage sales.

She is survived by her two sons, Mark and Bill, both from Bismarck; many nieces, nephews and good friends made over the years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlin E. Miller Jr.; parents, George and Tressa Wetch; in-laws, Harlin E. Miller Sr. and Ruth (Nelson) Harris; sister, Janice K. Cieslak and niece, Stacy John.
