Marvin Kruckenberg

Marvin Kruckenberg,78, of Bismarck went to be with his King on October 11, 2025 in his home surrounded by his family.

A memorial service will be held Friday, October 24, 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Bismarck Funeral Home. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.

He was born on January 28, 1947, in Hazen, North Dakota to Samuel and Alvina Kruckenberg. He attended Hazen Public School and later Bismarck State College.

His first marriage welcomed 3 children, welcomed 3 children- Karen, Rick and Brenda. He married the love of his life to Diana Strand in 1974 at Waite Park, Minnesota. Their marriage was blessed with 4 children- Melissa, Jason, Scott and Aaron.

Marvin worked many different jobs eventually settled into property management. He ran his own management business for 20+ years, retiring in June 2021. He loved being outside on his riding lawn mower.

Marvin never took life too seriously, with a mischievous grin, quick wit and a one liner for every occasion. Marvin worked hard, gave freely and loved deeply. His life was a steady example of faith in Jesus Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers; 1 sister; 1 granddaughter and 1 great granddaughter.

He is survived by his wife, Diana; his daughters, Karen Kruckenberg (Leslie), Brenda Loock (Lyle) and Melissa Myers; his sons, Rick Kruckenberg (Lynette), Jason Kruckenberg (Jessica), Scott Kruckenberg and Aaron Kruckenberg; his brother, Larry Kruckenberg (Linda). He leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he loved. They will always remember the way he picked on, antagonized and lovingly terrorized them every chance he got.
