Michael "Mike" DeWall, 54, of Mandan passed away due to medical complications on July 7, 2025.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at St. George's Episcopal Memorial Church, Bismarck, ND. Family will be receiving guests one hour prior to the service.
Mike was born on October 15, 1970, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Ron and Carol DeWall.
Mike graduated from the University of Mary in 1995, earning a degree in accounting, followed by attaining his CPA shortly thereafter. His professional achievements were a testament to his dedication and work ethic.
In 1991, Mike married Renee Eckmann, and together they welcomed three wonderful children into the world: Trystan, Sydney, and Rylee. Mike took great pride in being a father, cherishing the moments spent camping with his kids, fishing trips with his father, and watching the Dallas Cowboys play. He also had a passion for reading, particularly enjoying the works of Stephen King, and often found solace in quiet times with his dog, Maverick.
He was a beloved son, devoted father, and cherished friend, known for his unique sense of humor that brought joy and laughter to everyone around him.
Mike is survived by his children, Trystan DeWall of Bismarck, Sydney DeWall of Grand Forks, and Rylee DeWall of Bismarck; his grandson, AJ DeWall; his loving parents, Ron and Carol DeWall; sisters Carlene Raszler and Darlene DeWall; brothers Alan (Lisa) DeWall and Calvin (Stefanie) DeWall; and a host of nieces and nephews, including Matt and Andrew Raszler; Jordan Zoratti; Brittany (DeWall) Sundeen; Jake and McKenzie DeWall; Olivia, Shelby, and Izzy DeWall. He also leaves behind his ex-wife, Renee DeWall, and his loyal dog, Maverick.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald DeWall; brother-in-law, Jeffrey Raszler; his grandparents; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Mike's memory will forever be cherished by all who knew him. His laughter and love will resonate through the lives he touched.
