Mildred E . Roth

Mildred Edna Roth, 93, formerly of Bismarck, passed away on May 12, 2019, at Elm Crest Manor, in New Salem.  A memorial service will be held, at 9:30 a.m., on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at Bismarck Funeral Home.  Burial will be at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.

Mildred was born on January 30, 1926, to Karl and Mary (Weige) Sailer in Grant County.  She married Clarence Roth on May 28, 1955 and together they raised two daughters.  Mildred enjoyed camping, fishing, crafts, knitting, baking Christmas cookies, gardening, search word books and playing Scrabble.  She worked as a retail clerk for many years, retiring from Osco Drug.

Mildred is survived by her daughters, Connie (Jack) Pleinis and Marsha (Tim) Adolf; grandsons, Troy Pleinis, Justin (Amber) Adolf, and Tyler (Alisha) Adolf; great-granddaughters, Emma, Kylee, and Blakely Adolf; great-grandson, Easton Adolf; and sisters-in-law, Freda Roth, Nan Roth, and Diane Sailer.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Karl and Mary; her husband, Clarence; in-laws, Emil and Mary Roth; brothers, Harry, Lawrence, Raymond, and Arnold; sister, Gertrude Enzel; brothers-in-law, Norman Enzel, Reinie Fehr, Vernon Roth and Art Roth; and sisters-in-law, Alma, Viola, and Gloria Sailer.
