Myles “Jay” Kinzler, 66, of Wibaux, MT, passed away on October 25, 2025. He was one of eleven children born to Lee and Mavis (Holmstrom) Kinzler. From an early age, Jay began his career driving truck and later spent many fulfilling years working on his brother-in-law’s farm and ranch. His professional life was marked by skill and dedication while also complementing his private nature, where he found satisfaction in the solitude of the long haul and the quiet, honest labor of the land.
Dad was a reserved and private man who preferred a simple life at home, away from crowds. His favorite companion was his beloved dog, Macy. He loved hunting, NASCAR, watching sports, and notably, keeping a close eye on the Weather Channel. His family will miss his many texts about the weather.
Jay is survived by his three children: Kelly (Aykut) Kir of Phoenix, AZ; Dionne (Shawn) Haynes of Lincoln, ND; and Bret (Tallie) Kinzler of West Fargo, ND; three grandchildren: Raleigh, Venna, and Zeke; two brothers: Tony Kinzler of Jamestown, ND, and Mark Kinzler of Wibaux, MT; four sisters: Myra (Mick) Bredeson of Wimbledon, ND; Debi Kinzler-Cavin of Yakima, WA; Patti (Curt) Begger of Wibaux, MT; and Kristi (Joel) Willson of Wimbledon, ND; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Mavis Kinzler; his brother, Larry Kinzler; and his sisters, Dawn Kinzler, Michele Kinzler, and Sandra Kinzler.
We love you, Dad, and will miss you deeply.
A private service will be held with family.
