Otilia "Tillie" Vetter

Otilia “Tillie” Vetter, 84, Bismarck, died September 23, 2026 in a Bismarck care center. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday September 30, 2026 at 10:00 am at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Linton North Dakota. Visitation will be on Tuesday September 29 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Bismarck Funeral Home with a Rosary Service at 7:00pm. Burial will take place at the St Anthony’s Catholic Church Cemetery.

Tillie was born on February 25, 1942 in Linton to Pius and Catherine Kelsch. On June 15, 1960, she was united in marriage to Sebald Vetter.

Tillie was a hard worker. She worked on the farm and as waitress in Linton. She loved a clean home and cleaned homes for many years in Bismarck. She enjoyed baking and cooking for holidays. She was an excellent dancer and loved dancing and going to concerts. She loved ice cream,7-up and Werther’s caramels.

Tillie is survived by her children, Frances (Todd) Peterson, Darold (Charlotte) Vetter, Dennis (Debi) Vetter, Douglas Vetter, David (Jody) Vetter; 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; sisters, Sally Ell, Marie (John) Sibernagel, Bernie Wagner, Janie Trazpec, Theresa (Gary) Anderson; brother, Joe (Mary) Kelsch; and one brother-in-law, Elias Vetter.

Tillie was preceded in death by her husband, Sebald; parents, Pius and Catherine and one sister, Annette Kelsch.
