Paulette Geiss

Paulette Presler Geiss, age 68, of Mandan, North Dakota, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2025.

Born in Garrison, North Dakota, on August 21, 1956, Paulette was known for her radiant spirit, boundless generosity, and deep love for her family and community.

A Memorial Service with a prayer service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Bismarck Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mandan Union Cemetery.

Paulette brought light and laughter into every room she entered. She had a zest for life that was truly infectious whether cheering for her beloved Denver Broncos, hunting for treasures at garage sales, or singing with joy in the company of those she loved. Her heart belonged to her family, and she cherished every moment spent with her children and loved ones. A true social butterfly, Paulette could strike up a conversation with anyone and leave them smiling.

Her legacy is one of warmth, humor, and compassion. She had a rare gift for finding joy in life’s little moments and sharing it generously with others. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

Paulette is survived and will be deeply missed by her children: Justin Kraft and his partner Leah Taylor, Tia Presler and her partner Katherine Luna. She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings: Paul Presler and his wife Kari, Norman (Butch) Presler, Pam Erhardt and her husband Rodney, and Peggy Unterseher and her partner Lance Larson; nieces, Jennifer Wortman, Jessica Richardson, Kirsten Presler; and nephew, Brayden Rath.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Norbert and Pauline Presler; brother, Michael Presler; and sister, Della McFall.
