November 2, 1936 — February 23, 2025
Pius Klein, 88, Bismarck, passed away on February 23, 2025. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Pro Cathedral of St. Mary. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Pius was born on November 2, 1936 to Marcus and Mary (Schumacher) Klein. He was raised on the family farm and educated in Linton.
He married Janice Jahner on February 8, 1958 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bismarck. Pius worked over 30 years in the sheetmetal HVAC trade. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, photography, painting, metal art work, amateur radio operator, traveling and camping. He also enjoyed volunteering for the senior center.
Pius is survived by his children, Bonnie (James) Journagan, Marty Klein, Penny (Jason) Gregory, Vicki (John) Archer; 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marcus and Mary Klein; wife, Janice Klein and daughter, Carey Kraft.
