Richard "Jiggs" Schuette

Richard “Jiggs” Schuette, 87, of Hazelton, passed away on November 11, 2025, in Bismarck, North Dakota.

A memorial service will be Tuesday, November 18 at 10:00 AM at the Bismarck Funeral Home. Burial will be at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.

 Richard was a devoted father to his son Randy and daughter-in-law Lisa. He took great pride in his family, especially his partner Deanna, granddaughters Jessica (Jeff), MiKayla (Nathanael), and Jaiden (Jesse), and his great-grandsons Jett and Luke. Also including step-grandchildren BreAnna, Michael, and Andrew, along with five step-great-grandsons and numerous nieces and nephews.

 Richard served in the United States Navy from 1955-1958 and was very proud to be a veteran. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Maynard, Alton, Vern, Harry, and Bobby; and sisters, Bunny, Toots, Honey, and Dolly. Their memories remain cherished by those who knew them. 

Richard’s life was marked by enduring connections and a steadfast spirit. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
