Richard "Rich" Kuntz

Rich passed away peacefully on Aug 13th 2026, surround by his family and loved ones.

Rich was born in Bismarck ND and resided in Mandan until purchasing his dream location in Carson ND with the love of his life and wife Dot Kuntz.

Rich was first and foremost a devoted and loving father to Wayne and Jennifer, a proud grandfather / great grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend whose love and kindness brought people together. Rich's kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family will never be forgotten.

He worked as a welder for multiple years at Mr. Muffler and was known by everyone for his craftsmanship, talent, and dedication to customer service.

He enjoyed travelling wherever the back roads would take him, the freedom riding his Harley gave him on the open road, photography and most importantly spending precious moments with his family.

Rich had a knack for making everyone feel at ease and valued, his presence brought light and comfort wherever he went.

He is survived by his son Wayne (Lynne), daughter Jennifer, five beloved grandchildren Hailey, Hannah, Tyler, Seth and Dreux, great grandchildren, sisters Janette, Kathy (Bruce), and niece Dawn.

Rich's legacy of compassion will continue to inspire all who knew him.
