Robert "Bob" Couch

Robert “Bob” Couch of Hazelton, ND at the age of 82 passed away peacefully at Sanford Hospital, in the arms of his loving partner and best friend “Sharon”.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 22 at 11:00 AM at the Bismarck Funeral Home.

Bob was born April 23, 1943 to Ray and LaVerne Couch in Bismarck. He graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1961.

Bob enjoyed his successful career as a heating and air tech. His love of tractors was one of his favorite pastimes. He repaired and restored many tractors and vehicles from the ground up.

Bob and Sharon built a beautiful life together, staring in Bismarck, then Kramer, ND and settling in Hazelton, ND. Their properties were always immaculate, every blade of grass groomed and every snowflake pushed. You could say he was a perfectionist!

A field of geese was a favorite sight of Bobs. Hunting was his fun hobby, along with being a big fan of football and Nascar.

Bob was a generous man, always willing to work and help others. A true handyman, he could fix anything.

He is survived by his loving partner of 40 years, Sharon Nastrom of Halzeton, ND; son, Alan Couch of Mandan; three grandsons, Coby, Bobby and Tylan; step-daughter, Barb (Ray) Werre of Dawson, ND; stepson, Ned Nastrom Jr. of Fargo, ND; step-grandchildren, Ray Werre Jr., Clint Werre, Amanda Werre and Spencer Nastrom as well as 13 great-grandchildren.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Connie Couch and Kelley Hochhalter; son-in-law, Mike Hochhalter. Greeting Bob on earth and it will be in heaven, his precious dog, “Shnoozie”.
