Robert “Bob” Russell White, 73, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2025, in Bismarck, ND.
Born on July 29, 1952, Robert pursued his education at Breckenridge High School and later at North Dakota State University. He built a dedicated career as a Water Resource Engineer, contributing his expertise to the stewardship of natural resources.
Robert is lovingly remembered by his wife, Debra White; daughter Brittany Sandvig and her husband Chris; son Matthew White and his wife Elle; and two cherished grandchildren, Rawley and Scarlett. He was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara and Russell White, as well as his in-laws, Gordon and Grace Patterson.
A man of many words and a big heart, Robert was known for his unwavering generosity and always ready to lend a hand or offer support to anyone in need. His love for family and friends was unconditional and deeply felt by those around him.
He found joy in the outdoors through hunting and fishing and treasured time spent with his loyal dog, Gus. These simple pleasures brought him peace and connection throughout his life.
In honor of Robert’s wishes, no formal service will be held. His ashes will be spread at the family farm, a place close to his heart.
May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
