Robert Woessner

Robert F. Woessner, 83, passed away September 28, 2026. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 2 at 12:30 pm at the Bismarck Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Robert was born October 10, 1942 to Otto and Ida (Pierce) Woessner in Stanley, ND. He served in the United States Army and continued serving his community in law enforcement for Burleigh County until his retirement.

Robert was a life member of the Amvets and VFW Clubs.

He is survived by his children, LeAnn (Gary) Quinlin, Carol Jean (Dudley) Nesbitt, Aaron Woessner; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Ida (Pierce) Woessner; brothers, Harold, Leroy, Donavan and Edward Woessner.
