Rosemary Meyhoff

Rosemary J. Meyhoff passed away March 6, 2026. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, March 13 at 10:30 AM at Spirit of Life Catholic Church, Mandan. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Mandan Union Cemetery.

Rosemary J. Meyhoff was born July 12, 1937 to Frank and Rose (Erhardt) Messer on a farm nine miles southeast of Center, ND in Oliver County. She received her education in a one room schoolhouse out in the country.

She loved to work in the garden and do canning, sewing, embroidering, baking as well as vacationing on the west coast in the winter months. Dancing was her favorite!

She married Edward H. Meyhoff on October 17, 1955 at St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Center. They farmed southwest of Center until 1976 when they moved to New Salem. They then moved to Mandan and in 1997 moved to Bismarck where she resided until her passing.

Rosemary is survived by her son, Jeff (Shelly) Meyhoff; daughter, Edna (Marvin) Vogel; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also leaves one sister-in-law, Adaline.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward in 2008; son, Gary in 1993; parents; grandson, Travis; brothers, George, Paul, Anton, Frank; sisters, Odelia, Frances, Mathilda, Margaret and three brothers-in-law, Philip, John, and Nick.
