Russell Folmer

Russell Eugene Folmer, 77, of Wing, ND, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025, at his home in Wing, ND. 

Russell was Born on July 24, 1947, to Russell and Anna Mae Folmer. He lived in ND his whole life and often wondered why he was still there every winter while shoveling snow. Russell loved animals, especially he and Donna’s dog, Ollie. Russell was a bit of a jack of all trades, farmer, cattlemen, welder, but mostly trucked across the US. He was meticulous about his yard and would mow up to two to three times a week. Since retiring he loved to tinker and work on home improvement projects. He passed many of those talents down to his boys, who he loved so much. He will be missed by many local to Wing and far away. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Donna; sons, Jeffrey (Alyssa) Palmer, NE and Todd (Stacie) Oologah, OK; brother, David (Dee) and sister Pam (Warren) Geiger.

 Preceded in death by his father; mother; sisters, Monica (Tootsie) and (Dennis) Clow, and Connie and Ronald (Doc) Docktor.
