Family and friends are invited to attend and share in remembering and celebrating Scott's life. A time of fellowship will immediately follow the service.

Interment with military honors will take place at 3:00 p.m. at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.

Born on September 3, 1950, in Minot, North Dakota, Scott was the beloved son of Ronald and Marilyn (Bugge) Davy. A lifelong North Dakotan, Scott built a life centered on faith, family, service, and community. He graduated from Bismarck High School and continued his education at the University of North Dakota. He also proudly served his country in the Army Reserves.

Scott dedicated much of his professional life to Roughrider Industries, where he earned the respect and admiration of colleagues through his hard work, commitment, and genuine care for others. Beyond his career, he was devoted to giving back to his community and those around him.

A man of deep faith, Scott was an active member of First Presbyterian Church of Mandan, where he generously shared his time and talents. He was also a proud member of the Bismarck Elks, cultivating friendships that lasted a lifetime.

More than anything, Scott loved his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose greatest joy came from spending time with those he loved. Whether gathered around a holiday table, enjoying time on the water boating, cheering on the Minnesota Vikings, or simply sharing everyday moments together, Scott treasured every opportunity to be with family.

Those who knew Scott will remember him as a caring and selfless man who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was generous with his time, steadfast in his support of others, and deeply committed to the people he loved. His kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to family left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Scott is lovingly survived by his wife of many years, Susan (Ricker) Davy; his children, Justin (Nikki) Davy and Natalie (Greg) Eckes; and his treasured grandchildren, Quinn and Everett Davy, Gage Eckes, Bella (Austin) Nelson, Izaak Eckes, and Paige Eckes. He was also blessed with a great-grandson, Felix Nelson.

He is further survived by his brother, Brent Davy; his cherished extended family members, Kevin and Yvonne Schmidt, Todd and Christy Ricker, and Kim Lewis; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and fellow church members.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Marilyn Davy; his parents-in-law, Edward and Irene Ricker; his sister-in-laws, Shirley Davy and Georgia Lewis; and his brother-in-law, Edward Ricker Jr.

Though our hearts are saddened by his passing, we find comfort in the countless memories he created and the love he shared so freely. Scott's legacy lives on in the lives of his family, his faith community, and all who were blessed to know him. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Mandan.

Scott was a proud supporter of the Minnesota Vikings and the University of North Dakota. To celebrate his life and the things he loved, guests are invited to wear Minnesota Vikings or UND apparel.
